Every Princess Deserves a Hair Bow

You know those stories that just melt your heart? Those wonderful heart-felt moments that literally make the hair on your arm stand straight up and your heart flutter. I had one of those ”œahh” moments the other day.

I learned of a little girl, named Izzy. Izzy was born on Monday, August 17, 2009 in Boise, Idaho. She weighed 2 pounds 5 ounces and was 13 and 3/4 inches long. She was born three months early. She was born to two people who loved her enough to give her up for adoption.

Mom & Dad, Besty and Karson, are so overjoyed to have their little gift from heaven and their amazing and inspiring journey is chronicled at Karson, Betsy, and Izzy. Their blog is filled with one precious ”œIzzy” moment after the other. And, in every photo Izzy has a big smile on her face and an adorable bow in her hair.

I learned that Betsy’s hair bow making really took on a life of its own when she received a Bowdabra as a Christmas gift from Izzy’s birth mom and birth grandmother. ”œAhhh”

Betsy wanted to make the boutique style hair bows and even took a class on how to make them. However, she struggled with bow making until she received the Bowdabra, from Izzy’s birth family. Besty has had so much fun with the Bowdabra and enjoys making each bow unique and adding fun materials like: feathers, decorative picks, sparkles, buttons, and rhinestones. She has even inspired her friends, family, and Izzy’s birth family to make bows using the Bowdabra.

We love Karson, Betsy, and Izzy and thank them so much for sharing their story with us. Izzy, keep rocking the Bowdabra bows, in true princess style!
