Bowdabra dimensional Mother’s Day card
12″ x 12″ Stripe Paper
12″ x 12 Polka Dot Paper
8″ x 10″ Brown Paper
3″ x 2″ Polka Dot Wired Ribbon
6.5″ x 2″ Red Ribbon
Now we’re going to make this adorable Mother’s Day card. So, first, we’re going to start with this cute little picture frame charm. You can just put your photo inside the charm.
Next, I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, and I’m just going to string it on to the charm. Then, I’m going to fold my wire in half and I’m just going to lie this down into the Mini Bowdabra. I’m just going to tuck it, everything underneath just to keep it out of the way.
Now we’re going to make this really simple little bow. So, I’m just going to put this in here. I’m going to fold it back around. And again, I’m just going to tuck my ribbon in there and then find the center here. Then, I’m going to do a little mountain up fold and I’m just going to scrunch it into my Mini Bowdabra.
Next, I’m going to take this cute little piece of red polka-dotted ribbon and lay that down in the center. And I’m going to just scrunch everything down with my Mini Bowdabra and just make sure everything’s flat out there. So, now I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire and I’m going to pull it through the slipknot here. I’m going to hold my charm and my bow down and pull everything really, really tight so that the charm’s hanging in the front.
Putting the card together
Then, I’m going to separate the ends, bring them around to the back. Just going to straighten out my little charm so it hangs to the front. And I’m just going to straighten out the bow here. Now I’m going to just cut the ends off here.
The next thing that I’m going to do is I have a 12″ x 12″ piece of paper. I’m just going to fold it in half and then fold it in half again. I have a little-precut coffee cup or teacup, and I’m just going to use some glue dots. And here I’m just going to attach my teacup. I have is this cute little stick-on that’s just going to look like the steam coming out of my teacup. Next, I have these stick-on letters. To finish, I have this little lip that’s going to be the little lip for the coffee cup or teacup. So I’m just going to add another glue dot.
I’m not really worried how perfect it is, because the next thing that I’m going to do is take my tea bag and insert it into the cup. And then, I’m going to take my bow, and I’m going to put a glue dot here. So now that’s going to hold my bow. So, I’m just going to kind of put my fingers in here. And you have this adorable little dimensional Mother’s Day card.
