Super simple DIY Halloween wreath
24″ Gold Bowdabra Wire
2.5” x 47” Black & White Striped Wired Ribbon
6” x 74” Purple Wired Mesh
(2) 5” x 20” Gold Wired Ribbon
1.5” x 10” Sheer Black Wired Ribbon with Orange Glitter
1.5” Diameter Sparkly Black Foam
2.5” Diameter Sparkly Black Foam
(2) 1/4″ Orange Buttons
2” Diameter White Puff
(4) 8” x 0.5” Chenille Stems
Now, we’re going to make this super simple DIY Halloween wreath. So, I’m going to start with my Bowdabra Bow Wire and I’m going to fold it in half and lay it down into my Bowdabra. I just tuck the ends underneath so it stays out of my way. Next, I’m going to take this really fun purple mesh. I’m just going to scrunch it down into my Bowdabra. And I’m going to fold it back and forth, take my wand and just give everything a really good push. I’m going to take this gold ribbon and scrunch this down in here.
I’ve already dovetailed the ends of my ribbon. All I do is fold the ribbon in half and you’re just going to cut from the corner into the crease, and that gives you your great dovetailed ends.
Then, I’m going to take this really pretty ribbon. Oh, you know what I didn’t show you? What I was doing here. So, I’m twisting, pushing it down. So now, the wrong side of my ribbon is on the inside of my loop, but when I come back here, I’m going to make sure that the right side of the ribbon is facing up. Now I’m going to take my sheer ribbon with a little orange glitter on it.
Add the spider
Then, I have this cute little spider that we made. All I did was take felt and just made a little felt circle for the head and one for the body and used a hole punch. And then, I just weaved the chenille stems through so you have the eight. To finish, I put a puff here and just two little buttons for the eyes.
And so, I’m just going to take two of the chenille legs, the chenille stem legs, put those into my Bowdabra. Then I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, pull it through and kind of bring it around their legs. And now, I’m just going to pull this through my slipknot. I pull it tight while it’s still in the Bowdabra. Then, I’m going to pull it out. I’m going to separate the ends, bring them around to the back.
