Valentine table décor
1.5” x 7” White Wire Ribbon
6” x 28” Pink Glitter Mesh
3 x 23” White Mesh
10” Strand Pink Beads
12” Strand Pink Beads
Now, we’re going to make this really pretty Valentine table décor. It’s such a great decoration for wine glasses. So, I’m going to get started.
First, I’m going to take the Mini Bowdabra, and I’m going to take my Mini Bowdabra measuring tool. It just slips over the Mini so it still works, and you can purchase this separately.
Next, I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, I’ve folded it in half, and I’m just tucking the ends underneath. So now, I have this bit of tulle. And it’s just to make it a little bit puffy in the back. So, I’m just putting it in and you’re not even going to see it, but it’s going to add a little pouf.
Scrunch in the pink tulle
And then now, I’m going to take my pink glitter tulle ribbon and I’m going to make sure it’s centered. So, I’m just going to center this down into my Mini Bowdabra. And all I’m doing is just scrunching the tulle into my Mini Bowdabra. Scrunch that all in. And once it’s all scrunched in, I’m going to take my wand and just push everything down.
Then, I have these two pieces of ribbon that I’ve already dovetailed. So, I’m just going to scrunch this in here. I’m just putting it right in the middle. And I’m going to take this piece and scrunch it in here. And then I have this really pretty pink ribbon. Then, I’m going to fold it in half and I’m going to put the right side down in my Mini Bowdabra. Then, I’m going to just fold this back over here and put the right side down.
Now, I’m going to take this one, and I’m going to literally just make an X here. So, this is how we would also make a boutique bow. And so, underneath here, if you can see what I’m doing, I’m just scrunching that in right-side down. Then I’m going to look at my measurements. I have 5, about 5 ½ centimeters on each side. I’m going to scrunch that in. Then I’m going to do the same thing with this and scrunch the top down in there.
Finishing your bow
Finally, I’m going to take my wand and I’m going to just take my beads and just lay these in here. And take the beads here. So, maybe I’ll just place that like that. And just sort of let them flop as they do. I’ll take one more scrunch.
To finish, I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire, bring this right back up here, pull it through the slipknot. That’s why we always double the wire before we put it in the Bowdabra. I’m going to pull it out. I’m going to separate the ends, hold it really tight, bring it around to the back. Let’s just move my beads around. I’m going to tie a knot, and I’m going to double-knot it. And then I’m just going to tie it with a little bow onto our wine glasses. So, isn’t that just a really pretty way? It’s great for Valentine’s Day or any kind of party.
