Bowdabra flower girl wand
So, now we’re going to make this really cute flower girl wand or princess wand.
I’m going to take some of my Bowdabra Bow Wire and fold it in half. I’m going to lay it down in my Bowdabra. Then, I just tuck the ends underneath so they stay out of my way.
First, I’m going to take these 24” pieces of ribbon, and I’m just going to fold them in half and just kind of lay them in. And I’ve got a mix of satin and sheer. I just want to make it really pretty so that when your little princess or your flower girl is walking down the aisle she has a really pretty, pretty wand.
Add the chopstick
So now, I’ve put in a chopstick. Then, I’m just going to keep adding more of my sheer ribbon. I’m just kind of mixing up the colors. And then, what I’m going to do is take this really pretty beaded ribbon, and I’m just going to lay it right there.
Next, I add my pretty roses. And I’m just going to kind of divide my little luminesced rose bunch in half.
Then, I’m going to take my Bowdabra Bow Wire and I’m going to pull it through my slipknot. I hold it tight while it’s still in the Bowdabra and then pull it out. Now I’m going to separate the ends and I’m going to just bring this around to the back. And I’ve got so much ribbon, I want to make sure I get around it all. Finally, I’m just going to tie a knot, and I’m going to tie a double-knot. And I’m just going to clip my wire. I just sort of shape my wand and shape my roses the way that I want them. And now you have this really, really pretty princess wand for anyone to walk down the aisle or just play princess with.
